At Spring RAF Benson we offer a warm, friendly, caring environment to children from 3mths to 12 years in our purpose built nursery and out of school club. We are open 51 weeks per year from 7.30am until 5.30pm excluding weekends, bank holidays and the week between Christmas and new year. The nursery is based “behind the wire” at RAF Benson and we offer flexible childcare to civilian and military families including 2,3 and 4 year old universal and extended funding .The nursery is bright and spacious and each room has opportunities for the all children to play, relax, explore and learn with a focus on natural material and loose parts and free flow access to the garden. We have a team of experienced practitioners who are committed to providing the best possible care, experience and learning opportunities for all children. Continuous professional development is fostered and we have a newly trained Physical and nutritional needs co-ordinator (PANco) and a Forest school leader. Recently, after securing an extensive grant a new forest school area is being developed alongside a new mud kitchen. We pride ourselves on our strong parental relationships; these are nurtured through daily communications via our famly app and face to face. We have an onsite chef who follows the Eat better, start better guidance and prepares and nutritionally balanced which takes into account individual needs and dietary requirements. The Out of school club offers a breakfast, after school and holiday club . We drop off and collect children form RAF Benson school. The club is an an area where they can chill out and play after a busy day at school.
