Spring Oscars @ Hutchesons’ is a seasonal children’s multi-activity camp operating from Hutchesons’ Grammar School, an independent school, in the southside of Glasgow. Our camp operates during the traditional Easter and Summer school holidays and is open from 0800-1830hrs each day. Registered with the Care Inpsectorate to provide care for up to 140 children aged up to 16 years, we can also provide a limited number of pre-school places during the summer holiday.
Access to our multi-activity camp is via the Boleyn Road entrance to Hutcheson’s Grammar School, where our friendly, skilled and professional staff team will be on hand to welcome you and your child to camp.
Each morning, from 0800-0845hrs, we provide a breakfast service, where children can enjoy a healthy breakfast while sitting with friends and staff. Mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack is provided, while children should bring their own packed lunch.
Each day is packed full of activities, carefully planned and evaluated by our staff team in collaboration with children attending. We enjoy almost exclusive use of Hutchesons’ Grammar School, accessing the playing field, multi-games area, dining hall, bistro and the enormous sports hall. In addition to arts & crafts, sports, theme days, games, science & nature, we also arrange specialist visits to our camp to provide silent discos, animal handling sessions and the famous NERF Wars Experience.
Our staff team are always available to offer feedback on your child’s day at camp and to answer any queries parents may have. The outdoor play spaces at Hutchesons’ Grammar School are fantastic and you can often see our camp enjoying group games on the playing field, where children can play safely and with freedom, letting their imaginations and creative side run wild.
