Angela joined Spring Nurseries as a Senior Nursery Manager earlier this year and brought with her a wealth of experience from across the early years sector. Having worked as an early year’s teacher, advisor and Ofsted inspector, she has spent her career focused on helping children thrive. In our latest blog, she tells us that despite her extensive background, it was Spring Nurseries’ ethos that attracted her most.
For Angie, the biggest reason to join Spring Nurseries was the fact that we’re part of Action for Children.
“Being a charity means that everything we do goes straight back into supporting children and making sure we’re providing the very best experiences for them,” she explains. “Having a positive impact is vital for me.”

In her role, no two days are the same. Angie works across several nursery settings, supporting teams, developing quality practice and helping colleagues continue to grow professionally. She particularly enjoys working with staff to strengthen children’s learning experiences and create environments where both children and practitioners can flourish.
Since joining Spring, Angie has already helped teams develop their understanding of how children learn, improve learning environments and enhance interactions between adults and children. “Seeing those improvements and the positive impact they have on children’s experiences is something she’s especially proud of”, she says.
