A Proud Moment for Spring Wellsprings: Rated “GOOD” by Ofsted

We are thrilled to share some wonderful news – Spring Wellsprings has been rated “Good” by Ofsted! This recognition is a testament to the hard work, passion, and dedication of the entire team, we couldn’t be prouder.

At Spring, we believe that every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where they can flourish, Wellsprings latest Ofsted report reflects just that.

The report highlighted many strengths of the setting, including the strong relationships with children and the enthusiasm and pride taken by each member of the team.

Here are some highlights from the report:

• Language and developing a love of reading, song and rhyme are at the heart of the curriculum. Most children listen attentively when they are being read to and suggest what they think is going to happen next. They join in with familiar stories and rhymes, repeating repetitive phrases and words.

• The emotional well-being of children underpins the curriculum. The children are confident communicators and can articulate their emotions and feelings well.

• The staff work with enthusiasm and take pride in the care and learning they provide. Leaders ensure that staff access a varied professional development programme that builds on their existing knowledge.

We spoke with Stacey Lane, Nursery manager who was overjoyed with the result:

I am absolutely over the moon with the report. The staff have worked extremely hard towards getting this rating and got the outcome they so rightly deserved. The team’s dedication to Wellsprings, and their passion for learning and care they give the children is above and beyond, and I am so pleased this shone through. We couldn’t be happier!
