There were many factors in my decision to choose Spring for my apprenticeship, but the main reason was because I had already fallen in love with the nursery during my week of work experience a year prior to starting. Coming to the nursery for a week as a 17 year old student was extremely daunting, but everyone here made me feel very welcome and I had the best time! I feel like the nursery is the perfect size to get to know each child properly and form a good bond with all children, as well as to form good bonds with other staff members. The facilities here amazed me, such as the fantastic garden space offered as well as our forest school. Overall, I felt that the nursery as a whole, as well as the people were amazing, which had a huge impact on my decision. I wanted to choose a nursery where I could wake up in the morning and be excited for work rather than dread it, and I definitely feel that Spring has given me that feeling and positive mindset.
