Spring Thorpe Hamlet is a full day care setting in the heart of Norwich offering 57 childcare spaces per day.
The setting provides a warm and home form home environment where children will be encouraged to become independent learners. Staff take time to get to know parents and children to ensure their individual care and learning needs are met.
The large garden area allows children to benefit from free flow play enabling them to learn from the natural environment and partake in physical exercise daily. The curiosity approach and loose parts play is fully encouraged to enable children to become critical thinkers. Forest school sessions are also on the agenda with our forest school leader.
Our deputy manager has recently completed her level 4 PANCo qualification which means physical health and nutrition is planned for within the nursery activities and routines. We benefit from being close to the city centre with trips out to the local parks, woods and library. We pride ourselves on being a calm and relaxed full day care setting that gives children in the Early Years a breadth of learning and development opportunities prior to going onto their next step of education.
